the things ya see while house hunting..........

 well once again we were off on a house hunting adventure with sister #4 and her hubby. we stopped in a couple of the houses some were way outdated and some just interesting. here is a couple pics which were neat or just weird. the above pic is of a counter top stove. it has two sections that fold up when not in use, the pic shows one side folded down.

this pic was of a bathroom in which the toilet was on a pedestal in front of two large windows, and of course across the street, the neighbors in plain view. was probably raised to hide the plumbing, it looks as if the tub is raised also, interesting. i guess the neighbors can have a dinner and a show. sister # 4 is demonstrating a #2, what did she eat?

cinderella..........

 little Malia was playing Cinderella  at the rental house Friday. too bad she hasn't any wicked step sisters i guess she have to use her evil parents instead. we went out to put on a fresh coat of white paint and some elbow grease on some of the cleaning. we've had seven potential renters already and all we've done is put a sign in the window(good sign?). hopefully they will play out.

long way to go, but all the time ya need........

well i must say it looks like my last planting adventure was a disaster, but a new plant looms on the horizon. i relocated some ivy from the backyard(free 99) to the bottom of the new privacy/keep boys out fence. when or shall i say if it takes, it will soften the exterior of the fence and still be a weather hardy plant, offering even more privacy from crack peeking outsiders:)

de storm on lenmore.................

well all was quiet on the lenmore front, with no major damage to report except for a few fallen limbs and the front yard/corner light was blow over. it looks as if the bottom had been attacked by corrosion(rust) and all it took was a strong breeze to blow it over. well another project for another day.(maybe a new tool). here's a pic of Malia helping pick up some of the fallen limbs(playing). in the pic you can see the light post laying down on the job.

flowers in the grass.............

whenever i see these little flowers i always think of my big sis #2, and i know to keep a look out on the calender for her birthday even thought its in the later days of May. pic taken by that camera savvy wife of mine.

hey....no feet on the table.......

little Malia sometimes likes to sneak a foot or two up on the table . in this pic daddy was tickling one of those little tender roneys.

just a pic of my old lady doing a little spring mantiance. yep its that time of year to get out the ol push mowers and weed eaters or just get a bunch of goats(but they'll eat everything so kids put your bikes up). after cutting the grass at home we then went to the rental. a good friend of mine came out and cleaned the carpets, and then up went the "for rent" signs(got two calls by the time we got home, they were from the same person though).

while out at the rental the kind neighbor lady told me to be sure and cut off the water when i leave( i always do just paranoid Dave), she said she saw the other neighbor grabbed his hose and hook it to the back of our house he was trying to wash his car!!!! what a prick. when he turned it on only drops came out lol. just nice for her to tell me, she didn't have to, i would have never known. people these days, just nice to know some people are  still good hearted. you can see the rent sign on the door.
