Sickly.........

 

Here we have a pic of the flus latest victim, Malia has not been feeling too great the past couple days with a low fever and upset stomach. I think I need to buy stock in Lysol cause momma Mandy has been going around disinfecting everything in an effort to keep the other home occupants from catching it. The large red bowl in the pic is more for wishful thinking, it seems that the flu discharge doesn't seem to make it to the bowl. As of today Malia is up and about feeling better or so it seems for the time now. There's nothing like having a mother to baby you when your sick, mothers just have that soothing touch.

Balance........

 

A daily balance of letter M is needed maintain a healthy alphabet diet , Here Malia balances the letter M upon her head. Her attire is a Cinderella dress which was given too her on a recent trip to Ohio along with some others, for her to play dress up. She loves to run around the house and spin around.

Diaper revisited.........

 

He we have Ella pictured, it's hard not to notice the diaper protruding out from under her onesie. Yep it's that time again, we've been a little slack on getting back on the cloth diaper Train, but now were All Aboard. With a cloth diaper covering her Caboose we are back on Track.

Here we see the diaper Station set up and ready for Ella to board that diaper train.

Thrifty Momma Mandy..........

 

Here's a couple pics of Momma Mandy's latest project. Here we have pic above an old book shelf which daddy Dave had dug out of the attic(was left behind from pervious owners). Being made of cheap partical board and fake laminate it wasn't the prettiest.

So after a quick coat of black spray paint........found in daddy Dave's garage.

And some contact paper............

The new and improved shelf is revealed .........very nice very nice.

Box tastic.............

 

Well in the past week or so our dryer crapped out on us, being in the rental business I some times have an extra appliance or two on hand. After replacing with another used dryer and it also crapping out it was time to upgrade and get a new dryer(having fixed or replacing the dryer and washer many times before this event). After picking up two new appliances we were left over with two rather large boxes.

Here Malia demonstrates just how large these boxes are. Momma Mandy had a great idea(pintrest), why not turn these boxes into a playhouse for Malia. These boxes are a little flimsy so a few mods may have to be made.

So after some modifications, framing using the original packing hardware. Some duck tape, a hand saw and a little planing the box began to come to life. Malia did supervise the whole ordeal.

Here's the finished product not so pretty but it does have , windows, doors and a Snoopy included(on roof keeping an eye out for the red barion). Momma Mandy thinks we should start charging rent, I hope Malia will be a good tenet.

Thanks...were....a..... giving..........

 

During the thanksgiving holiday my ladies and I took a trip too see family in Ohio. We stayed at a nice bed and breakfast place hosted by the Schaller's. their home backs up against a wooded area and they are often visited by the locals...........deer that is. Great Grandma ta..tee throws out apples for them to enjoy. Pic above Ta..Tee, and Malia watch the deers there were a total of about 6 during this viewing.

With the deers enjoying the apples Malia decided she would like one also........

Over at the Darlings house hold thanksgiving lunch was being prepared here Great Grandpa Darling and Grandma Gina are gathering the spread.

After dinner we were serenaded by the lovely composing's of Malia.
