Pot head........

 

Well these are not the illegal herbs but an assortment of cooking herbs chosen by momma Mandy. Momma mandy had a pot project on her mind and so it began.....

Here's the pots...

Now filled with dirt and stacked....

And the finished project......

Herbs at the door, no need to walk out to the garden just open the door and fresh herbs within reach.

Trip....

Momma mandy and daddy Dave on that trip to the mountains.

Loaded up and ready for the hike just 2 1/2 miles each way 5miles total, with one girl in a carrier and the other walking/stroller.

Off we went, Ella needed a snack momma covered her it was quiet breezy.

At the end of the hike was flat top tower,up we climbed for a 360 degree view ole the mountains.

While we Unloaded Malia stayed warm in daddy's jacket. We had fun, little ol Boone sure has grown.

Mountain trip surprise.........

 

What do we have here well above is a pic of the mountains off the blue ridge parkway not taken by myself but by another photographer. What is the meaning of this pic? well it a surprise for daddy Dave's one and only Momma Mandy and the girls. Ya see a recent project was cancelled leaving an unexpected day open in daddy Dave's schedule, unknown to Momma Mandy. Daddy Dave decided not to tell her and surprise her with a day trip too the mountains. maybe we'll hike and visit the place of engagement possibly, a trip to their favorite old park, or just some sights around their old stomping grounds, maybe some lunch. Right now Momma Mandy has no idea and she won't until she settles down with her cup of coffee and grabs the iPad and pulls up daddy Dave's blog. .............SURPRISE.....................grab your needed apparel.......we're going to the mountains for the day my love.

She's done.......

 

The shaver rental is done diddly done.......with special thanks to my lovely wife for all those late evenings being stuck at home with the girls, and to big ole Mr Marshall for that helping hand and conversation. The new tenets signed the dotted line fri and now have the keys. Below I posted some before and after pics for your enjoyment as well as my own.

Egg hunt 2013........

 

 

Here we our minus momma mandy she was taken the pic, with empty baskets in hand it was time to head outside for the Easter egg hunt.

And she's off right out of the gate she spotted the first egg of many tucked neatly in a bush hid carefully by her momma.

Yet another atop the slide....

Ooooooo I see another.......move Barkley.

Sence when did the Easter bunny start putting eggs in the bushes?

Momma mandy put a couple different treats in the plastic eggs, a few Reese's , a couple fridge magnets, and........

Shredded cheese?...........whaaaaat momma your silly.....of course Malia did enjoy it also. Next year it looks as if two little ladies may be participating.
