More proof that momma mandy is tougher than daddy dave, not only has she given birth twice(without drugs) but now she rubs her toughness in daddy Dave's face. Yep it may be slightly surprising to some but above is proof, momma mandy got a tattoo. Daddy Dave cringes at the thought of receiving a tattoo he would probably pass out, who are we kidding he would pass out. Daddy Dave's pain thresh hold is not very impressive to say the least.
It's a simple tattoo but says a lot.
Well the other day daddy Dave was playing catch up on some of the lawns he maintains. With the nice amount of rain we've been having it dose put a damper on the amount of time daddy Dave has to go out and cut. But let's get to the reason of the blog. When using a weed eater you have some control over the spay of the cuttings with the direction of the cutter head. This comes in handy when cutting along fences in crowded neighbor hoods, as to help prevent the grass spray from going in a neighboring yard. Well I was on my last cut of the day and was weed eating near a dog house, not paying attention to the spray of the cutter being it wasn't nessasary .........wrong. At the crucial moment of full throttle and the cuttings coming back towards me, a mistake was made. A nice pile of fresh dog excrement was hiding out in the tall grass. The spray was warm across my face as the aroma tickled my nose while playing with my gag reflexes. With the proper safety equipment being worn daddy Dave's sight was spared minus the dung mist across the lens of the safety glasses. Luckily daddy Dave's mouth was closed, but what can you do, but keep cutting. Barkley won't be happy about this though.
Well with a donation of some mondo grass( sister #4) which daddy Dave needed to build a boarder on a planned flower/vine/bush bed and transplanted the mondo grass from sister #4s house. Above the mondo grass is laid out ready for planting.
Here's the grass planted, daddy Dave plans on turning the area next to the road into a low maintenance landscape.
Well what is daddy Dave doing on his 21st birthday, is he out drinking with the boys? Getting rowdy out on the town? No......well then what. Well after a nicely grilled hamburger and some company from his near by sister and her hubby it was a night in, but not before building Malia a fort in response to her request.
What better place too build her a fort than on her own bed.......hopefully getting her to go to bed will be a synch.
After momma Mandy treated daddy Dave and the girls to dinner, because she lost a bet(sister #4 is having a girl) we stopped by a local fast food chain for a quick frozen treat. Here Malia is making a mess of things but sure is enjoying it.
What do you mean don't eat the paper?.........extra fiber. If you eat the paper, do you have to wipe at a later date?
Malias forts have evolved........with her sister now pulling up on everything the fort has reached new heights. Here Malia is up in her fort while her sister hangs out below.

Here's the group all finished up with mudd to boot. Of course daddy Dave and uncle joel don't look so muddy but they already had a chance to simi-rinse.

Everyone sort of cleaned up the best we could with next to no cleaning stations available of course cold beers were readily available.
