Rain or shine ........

 

The other day while the girls were down for a nap momma mandy got out the pool. In this situation it was raining and shining(the crazy weather we've been having). Both girls loved it, hey momma the pools big enough jump on in.

Canned foam .......

 

Well it's past due for daddy Dave to address an issue at the ole homestead, it seems some times creepy crawly insects have occasionally making their way into the house crickets and such. One root of the problem was the gaps left around incoming water lines, theses were a open door to the crawlers. Above this hole was way to large for just a can of foam so daddy Dave made a quick cover and secured it down.

Some more holes in need of foam.

After the foam had been sprayed it appeared to have blocked passage, after it dries daddy Dave will trim off the excess.

Foam tastic.......these were not all of the holes of which received foam. Around the air duct, and a few drain lines were also done. The canned foam was as easy as shake and spray.

Snake in the grass.....

 

Soon after getting home from a relaxing vacation I received a urgent call from one of my landscape customers it seemed she had seen a black snake crawl across her yard, and wanted her grass cut ASAP. It didn't matter that her yard wasn't in need of a cut, she didn't care, She wanted her grass cut as soon as possible regardless. Well I guess all this recent rain is not the only thing good for the lawn cutting business. Snakes seem to drum up the request for cuts/trimming/weeding also. This was not the first costumer who had me do yard work because the sighting of a snake. One costumer was lucky enough for the snake to still be on the scene. Daddy Dave was did use some lighting quick ninja skills, grabbed it by the neck relocated it and let it go. O... Man when that lady saw that snake she ran around the corner of the house faster that a stick of butter sliding down a hot tin roof in the middle of July. Don't let it fool ya daddy Dave can't stand snakes ether but he's sort of creating a sort of comradery with them, I might just start letting them go to drum up business.

A tale of two cities.......

 

This is one of daddy Dave's weaker sand castle creations, for some reason the title " a tale of two cities" came to mind although daddy Dave was too lazy to build the second city.....but give him a break he was on vacation.

When push comes to shove.......

 

Well things are starting to settle down around the old home on lenmore. After a very busy week(vacation, pics soon to come) we are falling back into the groove of things. Ella has started standing up and walking while pushing things/holding on. Malia soon saw how to take advantage of this new found skill and got out one of her ride along toys. With Ella pushing all Malia had to do was lift up her legs and ride.

Mush.....mush....
