The ladies often find themselfs in the car seperated by an empty seat, to far to pull hair but not to far for a little hand holding.......at least that's what I think she's doing.......she might be trying to pull Ella out of her seat? That Malias a sly fox.
It has come time to address the tires on daddy Dave landscaping trailer, the tires have seen better days and have a little dry rot(cracks along the tires sidewalls). Daddy was also in need of a spare for future flat tires or etc.
Daddy Dave picked up two new tires and rims, he figured he'd go ahead and replace both being they were two different sizes and makes.
With new tires(shoes) on the trailer it was time to use one of the old for a spare.
I had some extra u-bolts laying around so I useded them to mount the rim to the trailers cage.
And here we are ready to go out and get my grass cut on, prepared for that unexpected flat.

In the morning the girls had coffee across the fire from aunt Violet and Mr. James
A closer look, and of course the girls coffee is just coco, Ella is looking a little serious.
This past weekend momma Mandy and daddy Dave took the girls for a weekend camping trip. This camp ground was next to a lake which had swimming access, the girls had a blast.

Sense we weren't at a "real" beach the sand was only so deep and being in the Carolina's the soil is clay. Aunt Rose started forming these clay balls, and soon daddy Dave joined in. They were soon formed into clay creations.
After a day at the lake dinner was enjoyed around a camp fire.
Malia was pooped......... she fell asleep on momma Mandy's lap.
It seems that this bird feeder is of poor design, the covering dosent keep the bird feed dry and after a good rain the seed is ruined, but daddy Dave had a plan.
After looking around he came across this old veggie tray bottom which was of no longer use. First a hole was predrilled and threaded onto the cable to act as a covering.

This should help keep the rain off the goods, so eat on birds. No one likes soggy ceral and I doubt the birds like soggy bird feed.
Malia has decorated the walk way with chalk, a sort of Picasso style. I know what happens if you step on a crack(break your mommas back) but what happens if you step on a face, you get a leg brace? You get a can of mace? Get a bad case? A new place? that's all I got maybe you can come up with something better.
