During the thanksgiving holiday my ladies and I took a trip too see family in Ohio. We stayed at a nice bed and breakfast place hosted by the Schaller's. their home backs up against a wooded area and they are often visited by the locals...........deer that is. Great Grandma ta..tee throws out apples for them to enjoy. Pic above Ta..Tee, and Malia watch the deers there were a total of about 6 during this viewing.

With the deers enjoying the apples Malia decided she would like one also........

Over at the Darlings house hold thanksgiving lunch was being prepared here Great Grandpa Darling and Grandma Gina are gathering the spread.

After dinner we were serenaded by the lovely composing's of Malia.

Fort.....

The other evening daddy Dave and momma Mandy decided to build a fort to sleep with Malia in for the night. This first attempt at the fort was built involving the ceiling fan, which seemed to be a good idea but Dave was worried about the weight on the fan so this was aborted.

So the couches were repositioned, while moving the furniture a stash of all sorts of goodies was discovered by Malia. Marker tops, crowns , crumbs, magnets, and many other odds and ends. Ahhhhhhh look at diss mommy!

After the clean up of the debris the sheets were attached to the curtain rod and then to the back of the couch via clamps and pillows. A bed mattress was put down and the nessary bedding acquired.

As the night wound down momma Mandy and Malia picked out a flick to watch.

Here mr poops lays guard he did join us in the fort but was kicked out later for being a bed hog and ruff housing.

Kitties......

During that recent trip down to visit a birthday girl, we stopped by the homestead for a quick visit. Here Malia was introduced to a new litter of kittens. She looooooooved them to say the least, still to this day she asks if she can go see the kittens at grandma grandpas house.

They were just small enough not to run away, but she was ever so careful with them.

Inside fall clean up..........

With the weather getting colder it was time to bring in some of the outdoor plants, the particular one of in this topic has been around for a while, dating back before momma Mandy and daddy Dave met(nicknamed Bestie). Faced with freezing temps it was time for it to come in for the winter. Daddy Dave first set this potted plant in the dinning room area which is already tight for space, and not to mention this gave Malia access to mess with it.

After some time it was moved to a sunny warm spot(Ella's room), were Malias access to it could be controlled (closed door). Hear you can see that leaf cleanup was needed inside, and is constantly needed being the shedding of the leafs. To bad I can't use the leaf blower in the house........or can I?

Malia the sheep......

With Halloween upon us and trick or treating in the plans for the evening Malia was suited up with her costume. She went out as "Shawn the sheep"(Netflix). Momma Mandy created this costume with Cotten balls glue gun and time.

The costume was complete with felt ears and bushy tail.

Here's Momma Mandy pictured with both girls, Ella dressed as some sort of pumpkin ballerina or something.

We went downtown Concord walking the streets in an event which they hold for the children, it was very busy but Being Malias first time trick or treating there was no rush.

More sooner than later Malia was tired of walking and made her way onto daddy Dave's shoulders. Here you can see Malia already enjoying some candy, priming the sugar high soon to come.

And here's a pic of that sugar high, in no time she was running around the house jacked up on twix. Her costume didn't fair so well, it started shedding as you can see in the pic the cotton balls scattered around the house. Good times were had by all but when the night settled and the girls were in bed, momma Mandy and daddy Dave took a deep breath and relaxed.
