House of doors......

 

While continuing painting the living room was next....before

After...

This property has a lot of bi-fold doors which are time consuming to paint....... Unless you have a sprayer this made quick work so daddy dave tried to paint them all at one time.

Laundry room....before

After......on this house the washer and dryer are in two separate spots, the dryer on the other side of the carport and the washer in the house. This may be a future project(having them in same area) but no time soon.

Music....

 

Moma Mandy snapped a quick pic of Ella playing the piano pantless, some times you just have to get close your art. Of course Ella dosent run around the house pantless but on this occasion she was potty training. Nothing like a little but crack that will make you crack a smile.

Glaze.....

 

Daddy dave has still been working on the latest project, this day was rejuvenating the bathroom. Here you can see the worn out tub and tile.

After some cleanup some sanding and a fresh glaze the tub and shower look like new, one more coat is needed and on to the walls and such.

Just spicing up lunch with a jalepno between two tater tots, delish.

Bring the heat....

 

Lately while out working on the latest project it has been quite cold, causing daddy dave to bring some heat on the scene.

Now all the flooring projects have been completed with a few door jambs left, trim, sanding and sealer. Above the bathroom floor is done.

And the kitchen floor is finished

As is the master bedroom, this was a big job being the flooring daddy Dave bought was the cheap leftover end peices from the factory.

Coffee cups......

 

The girls got some do-it-yourself coffee mugs for Christmas, so the girls sat at the table under moms supervision and painted those mugs. Here Ella is eyeing up what her sister is doing as she paints her own.

Malia is hard at work on her own cup, they both ended up painting the inside as well who would of thunk it. After curing, the cups turned out nice and soon the girls enjoyed some coffee(coco) of their own in their personalized mug.

Pillow sandwich......

 

Here's one of my favorite pillow sandwiches, made with pink and yellow polka dot bread and two different types of filler. All that is visible of Malia and Ella is their tender ronies( feet).

Onward....

 

After a trip to a local hardwood supplier, daddy dave picked up a load of oak flooring for the latest project, It was quiet a load.

Once the flooring was stacked in the house(to aclamate), the old flooring in the rooms which needed new flooring was removed.

Once the floors were bare....

Then a moisture barrier was put down and measurements made and the first couple rows of flooring was laid(via help from uncle Nate, thanks).

This was slow going being the flooring was small pecies.....

But the largest of the rooms in need is almost done minus the closet.
