P..Oed..........

 

Here Ella is P..Oed(pissed off), it seems that she was enjoying her favorite brand of marker while momma Mandy had her backed turned. I know there washable but are they editable? Ella was not happy about momma Mandy taking the marker which her sister had carelessly dropped off the dinning room table.

Toddler coffee......

 

Here is a pic of Ella doing what she sees her parents doing every morning, enjoying a nice cup of coffee. Of course the mug is empty, I bet she wonders whats so great about this? If you look closer at the pic you can see daddy Dave's foot scratching Barkley's rump and Malia sucking her thumb in the distance sitting at the table waiting for some markers to work on her next master piece.

Sock tastic ........

 

Malia put on her owns socks the other day while getting ready to go too the park for a run and some playground time. She put dads socks on her feet and her socks on her hands, dads socks could be leg Warmers silly girl(she gets that from her momma). Needless to say she didn't go to the park like this, after she got the right socks on her feet off we went.

Floor tv?......

 

Well there comes a point in your life when you must share something near and dear to your heart. I must say this point has came in daddy Dave's life, the other evening he had to share his birthday gift card to "Red Robin", a burger joint(thanks mom and pop). Well I guess the only thing that can come between me and my burgers is my ladies. Of course the company was appreciated because face it there's nothing better than a good burger and good company.

At the entrance to Red Robin they have a tv installed in the floor. Malia thought this was the greatest, Ella could have cared less.

Drainage ditch ........

 

One of my lawn customers had a request for me to put in a drainage ditch above a flower bed which was on a hillside. Whenever a down pour came the water from the neighbor on the hill would come under the fence and wash all the mulch out of the bed and into the grass. With all the recent rain we've had this was a Hassle.

 

Here is the area of future drainage ditch

Now with the ditch dug and the excess dirt mounded on the opposite side to help form a barrier.

 

Next was the laying of some drainage rock to go under the perforated(holes) black drain pipe.

With the pipe laid in place.....

 

 

Next some decorative rock was put on top to give it a more finished look it would look better with more river rock filling in all the way to the fence but this is more cosmetic and up to the homeowner if she wants more filled in, then the weed mat was put back into place.

After some clean up and covering the new dirt mound with mulch we were ready for business, which came as daddy Dave was leaving(down pour). From the front the ditch isn't even visible

Plummer time....

 

No it's not your favorite video game(Mario brothers) just some work being done on sister #4's house. Here the objective was to replace the hot water lines from start(water heater) to where they disappear into the floor above. Above you can see a section of the old galvanized piping soon to be removed.

With the old pipes fittings removed and new pex fittings in their place all that was left was running new pex piping and then pop, snap and click sit back and enjoy the newly found water pressure.

 

 

Next a little gutter work was needed, this was a little farther from the ground than daddy Dave prefers but it wasn't no thing but a chicken wing. With uncle Nate at the base making sure the ladder didn't come out from under daddy Dave, new hangers were added.

Also a new row of shingles was ran under the old shingles which didn't have much of a over hang. this helps keep the water running into the gutter and not behind the gutter and down the side of the house. I think uncle Nate is nesting with all the projects he's working on getting done before the arrival of baby Seraphina. I know how that goes daddy Dave did a little nesting before Malia was born.
