fire hazard one o one..................

well last night after Davy doo had gotten off work and had just gotten back from a night jog. his wife informed him she thought she blew a fuse,  by starting the vacuum. after inspecting the fuse box and breaker box he found no thrown switch or blown fuse. so why was the power out on half of the floor outlets? well after mulling it over in his tired head, and thinking of calling his trusty ol pop's(it was too late) to get his opinion. he pulled out the outlet that wife had plugged into, no luck. still racking his now strained stressed brain, he went into the master bedroom and one of the outlets caught his eye. the plug which had been plugged in had a light brown tint to it? after pulling out the outlet he at last discovered the problem

the wire that was suppose to be attached was not in fact, it had some how broken. the outlet was toasted and the wire was a little crispy too. the wire was arking(a big no no, fire hazard one o one) well with no extra outlet on had ol Davey used some wiring nuts and surpassed the outlet therefore allowing the current to continue and all the outlets came on. next stop that home improvement store for a gfi  outlet or two. i thank god for no house fire, it was defiantly on the horizon.
