pumpkin run.............

 this last weekend some of us gathered for a 8k(just under 5 miles) fun run in Mooresville. this is a pre race pic. ol daddy Dave ran with baby girl,. and hear she is bundled up anxious to start the race, it was a little chilly. heres a link to a short video about the race featuring Malia.  www2.mooresvilletribune.com  search for pumpkin run

this is a group shot at the award ceremony after the race. the contestants place as...... Joel-2nd- 1st in age group, had an issue got lost on the course because two teens who were to be standing on corner in order to direct the runners were not. they were off chatting to friends so Joel missed a turn and ended up having to turn around and re- run a section of the course. David placed 16th with stroller, second in age group, Heather 31 placed first in her age group. Holly 43th and Mandy 66th  both finished up strong and came away with some sweet raffle prizes. needless to say of course Malia was first in her age group and was very pleasant to run with.
