Tag along.......
While cruising oll Craigslist daddy Dave ran across a well priced used trailer. This will come in handy while out working on property's
Often when lawn season is in daddy Dave has to cut grass one day and work on a house the next. This become a lot of loading and unloading and reloading of mowers and tools. It's daddy Dave's thought to mainly use this trailer for lawn mowers, he often has to borrow a buddy's whenever the need arrives. It's heavy duty but of course daddy wants to make a few mods to it.

Christmas morning......
After the Christmas story was read it was time for the unwrapping of the gifts, here daddy Dave and the girls are opening and unpacking some of the presents.
Barkley got right to work chewing on his gift....it was gone in no time flat.
Momma Mandy baked a delish batch of home made cinnamon rolls.
That afternoon daddy Dave and Uncle Joel beat up some halo(game) while the girls were napping and momma Mandy was slaving away on some dinner.
That evening dinner was enjoyed, some homemade ravioli, it was delish.

Christmas Eve........
Ole Uncle Joel join the Anderson's on Lenmore for Christmas this year, here he sits with the ladies.
That evening uncle Joel whipped up a double batch of egg nog, momma Mandy had made a variety of cookies the night before.Daddy Dave whipped together a candle stand out of some scrap wooden blocks, yeah wood......not so fire resistant. Malia places the candles into place and they are lit.
As the candles burned down they were blown out before a major event happened. After the girls went to bed the grown ups stayed up and wrapped gifts.

Dooms day.......
With an unusual windy day upon us and dooms day predicted who new what this day would bring. While in the house my wife heard a loud thump as she went to the back door she could see the nubs of two of the neighbors trees. Fearing they had fallen and hit daddy's truck out the door daddy Dave went. As he arrived on the scene this is what he saw. It was true the wind had caused two of the neighbors dead trees to fall, but not on Dave's truck but it did smush a couple bushes. It looks to have fell over the propane tank and into a grassy area. Although insurance should have covered it, daddy Dave gives thanks and is blessed with some kindling for those cold winter nights to come.

Hold'em down........
What is the story behind the crudely draw stick figures? Is it a game of human pics up sticks? Or perhaps some Chinese calligraphy? No but I'll cut out the suspense and head straight to the story. The action all began at daddy Dave's place of work. First ill start off by telling you that my employer just recently upgraded to headsets for all employes, as a way to get more productivity and to give us a direct line of communication. The other evening while performing working duties I heard a broadcast over the headset calling a manger to the front because of a irate costomer.
I just so happend to be working on a front display table which gave me front row seats to the action to come. Apparently this costomer just so happend to be one of our local homeless guys which beg on the street in front of my work. They have been ran off multiple times by he police which doesn't seem to have any effect. Being that my place of buisness is right besides a ABC store, and some railroad tracks directly behind it seems to be prime breeding grounds for this type of rif-raf to congregate. I can not begin to count the number of times I've caught them heading out the front doors with a buggy of beer and some prime cuts.
Well this particular bum was irate because he didn't have enough change for cigarettes, I guess begging wasn't as fruitful as usual on this particular day. He began yelling and cursing everyone, as the manager arrived on the scene this just seemed to make him more irrate. As he gradually made his way to the exit he started making threats, the manger decided it was time to call the police. As he reached for his phone the homeless man swung and punched him in his head. Now I heard of dinner and a show but not work and a show, now I couldn't sit by and watch I had to get my bosses back. I see the manger start to throw punches back as they clash into one another. Time seemed to slow down as I leaped into action, my first thought was to get ride of my weapon. In my line of work we are issued a 8" knife, I didn't want this to come into the wrong hands during the struggle.
I tossed the knife off my person and atop a display which put it well out of reach. Now I had a display in between me and the action, so by the time I rounded the display the fighting couple had ended up in the entrance of the establishment. The manager had tackled him and was trying to restrain him. Well here comes super daddy Dave to the rescue and promptly helps pin him to the floor. Now all we had to do was wait.......the cops were called and I suddenly hear my headset busy with calls for assistance to the front of the store. I hear the repeatedly paging me telling me to come to the front, I push the talk button and replie "I would but I'm busy holding someone down right now", oh is the response and headset goes silent.
As we lay atop this man I can smell the aroma of alcohol, he is still irate but powerless to move so he's mutters threats and such. One of which I remember he says "Im a vet, why you gonna treat me like this", don't bring veterans into this fellow, evadenty you lost respect along the way. Soon the cops arrive on the scene with tazers drawn and a red light on glowing on the man chest. They tell him if he starts acting like a fool when we release him he's gonna get tazed. In the back of my mind I think please don't taze this fool before I let go cause I didn't bring a clean set of underware. As we release him he is soon cuffed, as I stand I'm made aware of a little old lady trying to push her way through everyone with a large buggy of grocerys.
The entrance has been closed to prevent people from getting in harms way. As I stop the buggy I tell the woman, "excuse me mamma you can't come through here" she looks at the man lying on the floor and says "because of him? I'm not scared of him ill kick Him in his head", I try to hold back my laughter and smile at her and say " I bet you would, but I'm still gonna need to to use the other exit". I bet that was one of those gun packing granny's you hear about, soon the man is cuffed and given a ride in the patrol car. I guess he'll have a warm place to sleep and a hot meal, so who really won here?

Con......grads...ulations
Here's a couple pic of those two graduates at the recent ceremonies. Uncle joel and his fiancé Heather, they were all smiles a job well done by both. Some how during the ceremony someone in Joel's family snuck in a air horn...........it really opened up uncle Nates ears being he was sitting besides the guilty party. The Anderson's and Heathers family's cheers were by far the loudest I guess that means we were the proudest.
Here's those proud parents of uncle joel........next stop......marriage......and starting their careers. What a lot of big life changes coming up. Maybe that clown will leave the air horn at home during the wedding.

Myself.......
This morning while I was busy taking care of Ella and parental duties, Malia decided that she wanted to add to her outfit. It seem that daddy's choice of attire did not suit her fancy so she dressed it up a bit. Malia went to her room and put on this dress all by herself. Geeze pretty soon daddy Dave will have to check her outfits before she leaves the house, this dress is a little short but the tights makes if acceptable .......at least around the house.

Christmas lights.........
Lights
Here Malia hangs some candy canes on the Christmas tree, all are hung 3to4 feet off the ground. It almost looks as if she hung those Christmas lights, she was present at the time they were put out but daddy Dave can't place the blame on her.

Rattle no more........
Well it's that time..... on one of my projects ......for a fresh coat of paint. As seen in the pic this kitchen I'd very, very, very, very, nasty to say the least and it looks better now than it did before.
So after a little prep work and a new addition to daddy Dave's tools(Craigslist) an airless power sprayer was brought into the pic. No need to shake that ol rattle can, or painters elbow, or rollers regret...... just plug in and spray.
I just need to do something about the over spray............why what large lips you have.........the better to smooch you with my dear.

Sickly.........
Here we have a pic of the flus latest victim, Malia has not been feeling too great the past couple days with a low fever and upset stomach. I think I need to buy stock in Lysol cause momma Mandy has been going around disinfecting everything in an effort to keep the other home occupants from catching it. The large red bowl in the pic is more for wishful thinking, it seems that the flu discharge doesn't seem to make it to the bowl. As of today Malia is up and about feeling better or so it seems for the time now. There's nothing like having a mother to baby you when your sick, mothers just have that soothing touch.
