Noah's ark.......

 

Well what do we have here?.......... what we have here is a little girl soaked to the bone standing in an inch of water, tooth bush in hand still not quiet sure of what just happened. And so the story begins..... late the other evening as daddy Dave is dosing on the couch and momma Mandy is getting ready for bed. Ella was still up and about as momma mandy was about to tuck her in. Ella being the climber she is, climbed up on the training potty only to loose her balance and fall backward, she falls against the toilet shut off valve. The valve can't handle the hit and breaks causing a geyser in the bathroom. As momma Mandy yells for daddy Dave he stumbles from his stupor, rushing into the bathroom only to be met by a spray of water. Daddy Dave soon realizes that the break is below the cut off valve.......bad news.

 

 

The nearest and easiest shut of valve is the street shut off, as daddy Dave leaps into action he realizes his shut off tool is locked in his trailer in a tool box. Daddy Dave wraps a rag around the leak and has momma mandy try and compress the leak, this only keeps water from spraing everywhere but the water keeps gushing out flooding the bathroom and momma Mandy. As the animals start lining up two by two to board the Ark daddy Dave runs out into the night. With no light, no shoes and just coming out of a stuper it actually takes longer than it should have for daddy Dave to get his tool and get down to the street in the snow in his socks, running and cursing the whole way. As daddy Dave is fumbling at the shut off valve Ella is dancing, stomping around to the water having a blast. It was like she was playing in a fire hydrant in the heat of the summer.

 

 

With the water shut off......and the Ark on dry ground........finally .......after momma Mandy had gotten the girls dried off and changed into a new set of dry clothes. Ella came in to view the after math it was like towel carpet in the bathroom.

After daddy Dave puts some shoes on and some dry clothes he goes out to his plumbing suppiles and comes up with a solution a temporary fix to prevent the water from leaking once the water is cut back on, for a true fix he'll have to go to the all so familure home improvement store.

After a trip to the store daddy Dave came back armed with a push fitting, the fix only took a couple of mins and the plumbing mishap was fixed. After this little accident momma mandy noticed that the air vent in the bathroom was no longer putting out air. After closer inspection(under the house) it was discovered that water had filled the ductwork blocking the hvac output, this was an easy fix but wasn't the dryest.
