In a past blog daddy Dave replaced a spent window with this new energy efficient set, but the extirior still needed to be addressed. Daddy Dave decided to do a section of 5" wood slat siding to contrast the existing 12"siding currently on the rest of the house. First the area to be sided was framed out.
Then 5" slats were cut from a sheet of plywood and installed with a 3/4" overlap, Installing from the bottom. up
Here we have the newly sided section awaiting a coat of paint.
