On the latest project daddy Dave wanted to turn this stove top insert into a place in which too slide a regular stove. By doing this the renters would supply their own appliances In turn saving on some rent and keeping the land lords from having to supply/fix/replace any appliances.
Here the counter top has been cut and the rebuilding of the cabinets begun, it may look like a mess but there is a system to the chaos.
Here we have the newly rebuilt cabinets just in need of a coat of paint
Another item in the kitchen was this ancient oven which no longer be needed if another was located in the kitchen, so it was removed.
An extra shelf was added and the old cabinet doors which were removed from where the new oven would sit were cut to size and reused. Daddy Dave may still add another shelf to help utilize the open space more.
