Sence daddy Dave was already in under the house and had some extra itch-ulation he decided to insulate under Malias room. It was no fun but might make her room a little warmer this winter.
Wet, itchy and dirty daddy Dave was done for the day, except for his other job.
What a silly goose..
Well with another occasion come and gone it was time to put my nose back to the grind stone. With a couple free days without having to work on the rental it was back to the laundry room. First I had to secure the framing to the concrete floor, this was done with some concrete nuts and bolts.
With some well placed scrap 2x4's any openings/access were blocked.
Here we have a load of insulation or what I like to call itch-sulation.
Now the wall insulation was in place .
There was a notacable differance in the temperature in the newly insulated laundry room, now on to the attic.
With no previous insulation in the attic this was much needed, it was no fun installing but was needed.
After the attic access was framed out and a access door installed, next thing is to hook this room into main house hvac system another job in itself but that's for another day.
Yep here is Malia opening up one of her Christmas gifts.......new colored print undies.
At the Marshall's so gift exchanging also took place, there was a crowd.
After all the chaos Seraphina took a long nap on grandpa Anderson.
What would one do with all this butter?.....
Here uncle Joel whips up some egg nog.....
Which both the cookies and egg nog were enjoyed by candle light along with some good company.
During all the holiday hustle we hadn't forgotten about Barkley. While out doing a little shopping momma Mandy picked up a new squeaker ball for him. He loves, loves, loves theses balls but he always tears them up. We were so excited to give him his gift we gave it to him early, and of course he had it broke and whistle less in no time. Next he proceeded to tare a hole in it, I guess it was dog approved but not Barkley tested.
What is Malia doing? Is she searching under the tree for Christmas gifts? Nope.......(did you notice all the tree ornaments are slightly higher than Ella, that ain't no coincidence)
Ella had made her way under the tree and gotten stuck........momma Mandy snapped a quick pic before freeing her.

And the second time around daddy Dave bought the strongest stripper available(so says the container) but of course buying the best also is a little pricey but daddy Dave was disappointed with the last product although it was still on the higher end price wise. This may have been do to the fact daddy Dave couldn't take the fumes causing him to rush.
This time around it seemed to to do the trick with the adhesive scraping up with little wait time. Daddy Dave will have to go over a few spots being there was a thick layer of glue.
And of course daddy Dave ran out of adhesive remover......so he'll have to finish it another night. A perfect example of why daddy Dave often buys too much so that he doesn't run into the glitches caused by running out of product.
Here the girls are doing some morning yoga, well Ella is at least Malia is just laying around.
Here is a pic of our silly girls at the rental, while momma Mandy and daddy Dave were working on the last couple things Ella and Malia we're cutting up.
The other evening momma Mandy and daddy Dave popped up some corn and watched the polar express, after bath night was had by the girls. They both love popcorn, here you can see our in house vacuum(barkly) keeping an eye out any dropped or unnoticed crumbs.
You don't have to be a famous tracker like Daniel Boone or Davy Crockett to see that these tracks mean trouble.... Here Ella arrived on the seen covered in white dust?.......what is this all about. Now this isn't a seen from "Scar Face" and we don't have a lot of white powdery substances lying around so it was time to put my tracking skills to the test.
I don't have a coonskin cap so I'll just have to do with out. I followed the white tracks down the hallway past the shower in which momma mandy was partaking in and into the livingroom.
As I rounded the corner I was met by my tracking assistant "Malia the Great", and she held up some evidence......an now empty flour bag......who would have guessed.
Now Ella seems to be making a habit of dumping out momma Mandy's cooking supplies. It looks like we need to find a better storage spot.......maybe in a duffle bag hanging from a tree this keeps raccoons out so it should work on Ella.
