Everything but the laundry room sink.........

As Work continues on the laundry room the installing a laundry room sink was on the list of things to be done. The problem is that daddy Dave has a extra cabniet in which to hold the sink but it is 4" to wide

So some Frankenstein operations began to take place, first those pesky extra 4" were cut off.

After it was put back together the base was reinforced, these cheap cabinets aren't very well made and this cabniet was to house a sink it needed to be stronger than the factory specs.

After loosing those 4" the doors were too wide, so after running the doors through the table saw they were then Given a smooth edge on the router. Above the top door has been cut while the bottom has had a smooth edge added.

The top was built with 2x4's and new supports were added into the interior to aid in supporting the sink and a new front center peice was installed where the doors meet.

Here the cabinet stands awaiting its new home 4" slimmer. Wouldn't be nice if we could loose 4" that quick.

Here the Newley repurposed cabinet sits in its place, yet to be connected but that's on the list.
