Foaming at the tank?.......

In a past blog daddy Dave's power steering pump was making a little noise so in an effort to shut it up he preformed a flush on the system. This did not fix the problem and soon the noise grew louder, daddy Dave broke down and decided to go ahead and replace the pump. The fluid was getting air in it and was getting frothey causing it to over flow from the holding tank.

The removal of the pump was one of the easiest things I've done on a newer car, but I had to change pulleys from one to the other luckily I had a air gun on hand which made this a breeze. Above the new pump is ready to be reinstalled.

With the new pump installed it seemed to do the trick however I'm not sure this was the problem, there has been a recall on one of the pressure lines of the pump causing it to suck air which would have caused what was happening. Daddy Dave needs to schedule an appointment with the honda dealer to have this done, it should be free 99.

A bigger problem was noticed while under the hood, mice dropping were found ontop of the engine..........and if mice get into your wireing big BIG problems can arise, so some rodent preventative was placed around the garage. They must have been staying warm atop the motor

well, good thing you found the mice spore, that would have been a real mess.
