Ants in my pants.......

Well I have this pile of firewood which needs to be cut up and split. Now this firewood is not your ole run of the mill pick up outside the grocery store firewood. This firewood is still in large sections which needs to be halved before being split(a perfect job for gramp Anderson's splitter), with the potential of more firewood in the near future daddy Dave needed to finish this up and get it stacked ready for that cold weather. So let's get to the point of this blog, well daddy Dave wasted no time, he got all protected up..... ear muffs, safety glasses, boots, and blue jeans safety Dave was ready for business. And so the cutting began, after cutting a handfull of logs ole daddy Dave's back was a little sore(not being the young buck he used to be) so he proceeded to kneel down to aid in back relief. Next thing you know he felt a sting on his lower back, up he got with a quickness turning expecting to see a swarm of bees, but nothing came into view. He then noticed stinging sensations all over is body, back, legs, stomach, ankles, almost in unison. Sh$&t ......daddy Dave had ants in his pants.............and every where else matter of fact. when he had kneeled down it just so happened to be in a black ants nest.......and those sneaky pest had crawled under his clothing for a sneak attack.

So did daddy Dave strip down and streak around the yard, Yelling like a girl?............nope he shrugged his shoulders and swatted his legs and kept cutting, not much he could do about it now but block out the pain(wrong choice, he should of did the other). Here is a quick pic snapped by his old lady, you can see the swelling taking place. I didn't take any pics of the many other bites which were else where I'm trying to keep it PG here, just a tip the whitey titeys saved my boys. Good times and warm fire places to be had in the future, but man those bites itch. My lovely wife did take care of me applying a home made solution which eased the itching and soothed, what a sweetheart.
