Dark and dirty.......

 

While crawling under the rental I came across a magnificent forest.......well maybe not so magnificent but does deserve a foot note. It seems that the trees which reside behind this property have a pretty extensive root system. Which has traveled under the house, this is not such a great thing from a construction point of view. This means most likely that water gathers here(hopefully not fertilized water) and the root system can compromise the foundation this will need further investigation.

I still thought it was pretty amazing that this tree is still trying to grow even in the dark. I wonder if they've developed other senses like eyes that can see in the dark or they glow, like some of the sea creatures of the deep.
